Class overview

The goal of this class is to introduce students to proper lab procedures by immersing them in genomic workflow (working with instrumentation and protocols). By the end of this course you will be comfortable working with common instrumentation like pippettes, centrifuges, vortexers and water baths, recording your actions and results in a laboratory notebook to reference later on, and following written protocol from various companies.
